Edgewater, Florida –
The City Council recognizes the importance of citizen/resident input in the process of the search
for a City Manager and thus voted on January 7, 2019 to establish a City Manager Advisory
Committee. This committee will coordinate with the Council, Interim City Manager, City Attorney,
City Clerk and City staff in an effort to review applications submitted for the vacant City Manager
position. This committee will also assist in the interview process in the search for a new City
Manager and submit recommendations to the City Council. Each Council member will delegate a
representative to the Committee with the goal of completing the search and selection
process within a six (6) month period.
Applications for consideration to appointment to the City Manager Advisory Board will be accepted
by the City Clerk’s Office until Monday, January 28, 2019. Applications can be obtained
and completed on the City’s website at www.cityofedgewater.org.
