We are a small family owned manufacturing company that sells via our web site, distributors and dealers / retailers.  We have been in business for just over 10 years.  Check out our website at www.topshelfmarine.com  Our patented rope handled bucket is one of our most popular and best-selling items.  We also sell in the water hull cleaning and engine room specialty tools.  We offer flexible Monday - Thursday work schedules and hours.

Position Description and Basic Qualifications:

Position Title: Operations - Lead Manufacturing Assembly / Warehouse Position

Job Description:

Become familiar with our manufacturing / assembly process. Consistently manufacture and package products in a quality manner with minimum yields and maximum consistency.

Works with established assembly processes, enhance and optimize where appropriate.

Produce product to meet schedule and forecast demand.

Ensure inbound material is received and stored efficiently, quantities and pack slips are reconciled.

Ensure outbound product is properly packed / palletized for end Customers, Dealers, Retailers, Distributors or others.

Accountable for control of detailed/discreet, sub-assembly and finished goods inventory.

Maintains tooling and fixtures. Ensures machinery, consumables and chemicals are used in a safe and efficient manner.

Provide visibility into parts level and replenishment. Finished goods tracking and replenishment

This position is the lead role with the responsibility to supervise and train others. Schedules assembly / manufacturing labor as required. Ensures all personnel work in a safe, efficient and consistent manner.

Skills and Qualifications:
-Prior assembly / manufacturing experience preferred
-Ability to work safely, efficiently with quality and consistency in mind
-Ability to multi-task and prioritize important
-Experience operating forklifts, power tools / machinery preferred
-Assembly, pick and pack, shipping to end customer
-Marine, fishing and boating industry knowledge makes you a superior candidate

Position Title: Office Manager - Part Time

Job Description:

Part-Time Office & Administrative Position 

Maintains office by organizing office operations and procedures; preparing payroll; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions.

Reviews web store sales / order status. Processes orders, gets sales order to floor for build out / prep and prepares outgoing shippers on a daily basis.
Manages order status updates within the web store; follows up and maintains as required.

Generates UPS, FX, USPS, freight mailers as indicated by order. Leverages cost efficiencies at all times. Coordinates receipt of truck bound freight deliveries.

Performs specific QB tasks / reports as assigned by management.
Maintains new products items and codes within QBs including new product introductions and new pricing

Skills / Qualifications:
•Strong customer service orientation
•Excellent communication skills
•Good building and maintaining relationships
•Marine/boating/fishing industry knowledge/experience preferred
